Dragon Tusk

A superb Japanese carved small elephant ivory tusk, the central section with an elongated stylistic panel set length ways.
Carved within in high relief, a magnificent sinuous dragon, claws outstretched, surrounded by cloud formations as it stretches its serpentine form.

Early 20th century.
