Japanese Pipe Holder Kiseruzutsu Wood

LATE EDO TO EARLY MEIJI (1850 - 1900)

Kiseruzutsu, 1850 - 1900.

Made from wood comprising of two sections, the lower section holding the pipe the upper section being the cap , enclosing an attractive kiseru.
The wood with a nice age patina.

After over a 100 years the case still carries the scent of tobacco ingrained into the wood.

Condition : Some wear , excellent for age.
